Yes! For most merchants, we’ve created voucher cap options for easy management of your offers. Place a monthly or total cap on a specific offering so that you’re always in control of your promotion.
Different types of deals are featured for different lengths of time. And now, with our offer management tools, most merchants have more control over when your deal is live by temporarily turning offers off and back on when needed.
Payments will be paid by bank transfer to the bank account identified by the merchant in the Merchant Center.
We determine your payments based on the number of vouchers that your promotion sold during an offer period from the date your promotion goes live. Keep in mind, offer periods vary by deal. Your payment terms will be specified in your Merchant Service Agreement. Payments issued will be minus any refunds that may have been issued during that offer period in accordance with the payment schedule defined in your Merchant Service Agreement. Please refer to your terms of your Merchant Service Agreement for your specific details.
Our team of photo and editorial experts have tons of experience creating pages that make people want to buy. The photo team will pick out the best possible photo to represent your offer. As soon as your deal goes live and people start buying, you’ll see new customers. Just keep in mind that 30%* of new customers usually come in that first month, so prepare to be busier during this time by training your staff, preparing upsell opportunities, and updating your web and social media presence.

A voucher is a digital record of payment that LivingSocial gives its members when they purchase a deal from our site. LivingSocial customers who purchased your deal will present you with a printed or mobile voucher when they arrive at your business and you’ll redeem that voucher for its promotional value. It will list everything you need to know like the customer’s name, the voucher number, the deal’s paid value, and the deal’s promotional value.
You will redeem vouchers in Merchant Center, either on your desktop or using the free Merchant Center app. With the app, you’ll be able to redeem instantly either by searching the last name, entering the last four digits of the voucher number, or scanning the voucher directly. Redeeming vouchers is important for tracking your promotion's success and protecting yourself from fraud.
We have a few different basic eligibility requirements to work with LivingSocial, including without limitation:
1.) For local deals, the zip code of the business must coordinate with one of our live markets.
2.) We are not allowed to sell certain business concepts on our site and cannot consider those merchants for a promotion.
3.) Merchants must have either a company website, Facebook, or Yelp page to be considered.
4.) Very new businesses with only 1-2 employees will not yet be considered to run a deal with LivingSocial.
If you've already submitted your inquiry to become a LivingSocial merchant and were notified we're unable to move forward, either your business did not meet the basic eligibility requirements outlined above, or we may simply have too many similar businesses featured at the moment.
